Aster Is Waiting to Meet You!
Aster was surrendered to a county shelter from a prior home where she was kept locked in a crate all day. This would be hard for any dog, but it was particularly hard for this younger, high energy pup!
Aster is a 2-year-old, medium size (~45 pounds) dog. We think she is a cattle dog mix, but she may have some shepherd or husky in there too. Her most striking physical attribute is those beautiful, electric blue eyes, but she’s more than just a looker. Aster is a playful, friendly girl who wants to say hello to everyone she sees.
The poor gal hasn’t had much training — we’re working on her manners, but there’s no doubt in our minds that this smart girl will pick up quickly on her training. She will do best in an active home, ideally with another dog to help her play off some energy. Aster is simply a sweet, lovable dog who is full of life and looking for a home of her own.
