Giving Tuesday

Rex and Bubba have some big news to share: Giving Tuesday is almost here!

On December 1, 2026, animal lovers everywhere will come together for Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to generosity and giving back. Here at STAF, it’s one of our biggest days of the year and an opportunity for our incredible community to come together for the dogs and cats who need us.

Every animal who arrives at STAF has a story. Some come to us abandoned or afraid. Some need medical care and time to heal. Others simply need a safe place to land until the right family comes along. Whatever brought them through our doors, we want to be able to say “yes” to #JustOneMore.

For Rex and Bubba, #JustOneMore is more than a Giving Tuesday message, it’s part of their story. When they needed help, STAF was able to say “yes.” Now, they’re helping us spread the word so we can keep saying yes to more animals in need.

Originally rescued when found tied up and abandoned in a park, Rex didn’t let it dampen his joyful spirit!  Rex is a lovable goofball with a big head, an even bigger heart, and a wiggle that won’t quit! His story is one of resilience, second chances, and unconditional love for everyone he meets!

Bubba, our stately senior man, lost his home when his owner fell ill. He has settled into his beautiful room with other sweet kittymates, and he is the first to greet all his volunteer friends. Bubba is looking for a cuddling adopter who will cherish him forever!

This Giving Tuesday, you can help us be there for #JustOneMore. Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide food, shelter, medical care, love, and another chance for animals who have nowhere else to turn.
